Currently, Parham Scholars have been sponsored at William Peace University, Morgan State University, and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Each recipient exemplifies excellence in academic performance, dedication to leadership, and commitment to inclusive community development.

Scholars are selected by faculty members and may be recognized at the university's annual awards ceremony, celebrating their exceptional contributions and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

Inaugural Peace Parham Scholar - September, 2022

Essica Kaylea Thomas is a Human Resources Management professional and a 2023 graduate of William Peace University, where she majored in HR Management and founded the university’s first Human Resources Management Club.

In May 2025, the MIT Sloan Parham Scholar Prize selection committee awarded the inaugural prize to MBA student Nancy H. for her contributions to the MIT Sloan community.

How the program works

Parham Scholarships are awarded to nominated students who are enrolled and excelling at one of our partner universities. To be eligible, a student must be nominated and selected by the faculty or staff of their educational institution. Direct applications are not accepted.
